Maui: Molokini Snorkel and Performance Sail with Lunch

2.Molokini Snorkel and Performance Sail with Lunch

★★★★★★★★★★4.8 · 224 reviews · 5 hours · from $200

Sail Maui’s five-hour Molokini trip takes you from Ma’alaea Harbor to a protected volcanic crater aboard a fast catamaran, with breakfast, lunch, drinks, gear, and reef-safe sunscreen included. You may help at the helm, watch whales from December through May, and snorkel for about 1.5 to 2 hours. The boat carries up to 24 people.

“Captain Brandon and his crew were great. Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Many times they detoured the boat so we could see whales, an amazing extra for our tour to Molokini. The snorkel spot in the crater was great and we got there at a perfect time after all the “cattle cruisers” were leaving. We even had a brief bit of sail, though the weather conditions were a bit too windy for full sailing - bummed but understandable. Lived the smaller boat with fewer people, very comfortable. Food was good too and plenty to go around, both breakfast and lunch. Our family really enjoyed the entire experience. Highly recommend!”

Molokini Snorkel and Performance Sail: Mā’alaea Harbor

3.Molokini Snorkel and Performance Sail: Mā’alaea Harbor

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 214 reviews · 5 hours (approx.) · from $200

Sail Maui takes you from Mā’alaea Harbor to Molokini Crater on a roughly five-hour catamaran trip. You get breakfast, lunch, snorkel gear, flotation equipment, reef-safe sunscreen, beer, wine, and soft drinks. Crews such as AJ, Brandon, Jeff, and Micah are known for hands-on help, while whale and dolphin sightings may add to the sail.

“The crew was warm, welcoming and created a fun vibe for the passengers. We were running late due to traffic and they waited an extra 15 minutes. Unfortunately we rushed onto the ship without paying for parking and our car was towed when we returned. We enjoyed the experience but ended up feeling a bitter picking up our car from the tow yard. Although it’s not the crews job, I think everyone should be given the QR code before entering the ship.”

“The crew was so organized and made this whole operation run very smoothly! The open bar and lunch alone makes the price well worth it. The crew checked in to see what drinks we needed refills on. Talk about full service! We got to see whales during the ride, which the staff made a fun and informative experience! Aside from the amazing crew, the snorkeling was fantastic. My husband and I saw a reef shark, got to see at least 3 sea turtles, and so many beautiful fish. We would do this all over again. The Gemini is a one-boat operation, which impressed us even more. Definitely recommend this experience!Read…”
